Requirements

For a medical professional to be certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, medical providers must have the following qualifications:

  • Education: Must graduate from a Liaison Committee on Medical Education certified school
  • Training: Must fully complete at least 3 years of emergency medical training with an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program
  • Licensure: Must have a valid and current medical license

These qualifications also help our staff be better-equipped with providing quality care in any medical emergency.
