Requirements
For a medical professional to be certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, medical providers must have the following qualifications:
- Education: Must graduate from a Liaison Committee on Medical Education certified school
- Training: Must fully complete at least 3 years of emergency medical training with an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program
- Licensure: Must have a valid and current medical license
